Albert Rousseau was born on October 17,1908, in Saint-Étienne-de-Lauzon. In the forties, his career took flight while he was in contact with Marc-Aurèle Fortin. Rousseau's work is very diversified in his style as well as with the mediums he used. An artist in constant evolution, always experimenting a new vision of the world. A man who knew how to get involved in the community, initiating country exhibitions in 1964 and the opening of Moulin des Arts de Saint-Étienne. He died on March 18, 1982.
