Born in 1956, Hélène Labrie discovered sculpture at the age of 22, while her father was starting pottery as a hobby. Challenged by her professors at university to pursue this field and to perfect her art, she exhibited for the first time in 1979 and has never stopped creating since then. A mother of five children, Labrie shares her time between sculpture and family.
