Monique Dupuis
''Creating is for me a daily act. I believe that my thematic was bequeathed as a legacy by my ancestors from Île-aux-Grues and Cacouna, as if printed in my genetic memory. Since childhood, these magnificent birds have always generated fascination and passion in me. When painting became my favorite act of creation, the world of geese was inevitable, as if by magic, and because of them, I can express all my feelings. As soon as I start creating a new painting, I feel bursts of happiness. Whether my soul feels joy, sadness, tenderness, naughtiness, there is always deep in me a picture of geese, sand bars, hunters, dogs that will allow me to translate those feelings onto the canvas.
