''I came back to painting and drawing especially for the simplicity of expression. I try to refine my spaces to insist on emptiness as opposed to opulence. Colour is created by the neutrality and fusion of many colours. It is applied by a process that enhances depth and matter, and suggests time-space between pigment and air. Balance is found through the fragility of the line that links elements to natural simple shapes. It is a universe of shadow and light, signs and matter, abstraction and symbols, consciousness and unconsciousness. A great part of my thoughts tries to reconcile the complexity of the human being, his environment and the most basic element to his survival. I question myself on limits, connections, duality and respect of our surroundings. My reflectiveness translates into a pictorial environment in search of what is essential and my balance.''
