Alice Longpré is a professional and multidisciplinary artist. Originally from Lévis, she now lives and works in Victoriaville. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Université Laval, a diploma in architecture technology, a cabinetmaking diploma, and training in ceramics. After dedicating several years to raising her young family, she has passionately returned to her artistic practice.

Her work is a quest for abstract and geometric spaces, questioning the space we occupy as humans and the trace we leave behind. She is driven by the creation of optical effects, depth, and volume through the use of perspective, gradients, and contrast.

Alice has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions throughout Quebec, in public events such as Museomix at the MNBAQ, and in the creation of public art in Victoriaville. She is a recipient of grants from Première Ovation and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ). Her work is part of the public collection of the City of Victoriaville.
