Pierre Laliberté

Born in Sorel in 1956, Pierre Laliberté holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Université Laval. His artistic approach is inspired by minimalist formalism, where form, color, and space take precedence. Positioned at the boundary between abstraction and figuration—often explored through abstract landscapes—Laliberté has, over the years, developed a highly personal and distinctive way of expressing feelings and emotions through the interplay of form, color, and material.
