Frank Polson

Frank Polson was born in Montreal in 1952 and is a member of the Algonquin Long Point First Nation community (Winneway, Temiskaming). For the past seventeen years, he has worked at developing his style in acrylic. Frank is self-taught and produces works of unique beauty in the Woodland style which is relevant to today and in accordance with his heritage. He has rekindled his memories of many pleasurable and educational seasons spent with his father on the trap-line among the glorious sunsets and sounds and feelings of days and nights in the wilderness and has tried to capture those wonderful memories on canvas. Frank Polson's art has been sold all around the world and is exposed in many Canadian and European galleries.
