
Pierre Lesage
Pierre Lesage was born on December 13, 1933 in Québec City. After obtaining a Law degree in 1965, he started taking painting classes in Québec City in 1971. He continued his training (drawing, painting, live model, sculpture, silk-screen printing and etching) at the Moulin des Arts in Saint-Étienne from 1974 to 1983. In 1976, he studied sculpture in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli and stained glass in Sainte-Foy in 1981. He worked as a notary from 1957 to 1975 and then, he taught at the Moulin des Arts of Saint-Étienne from 1986 to 1988. He participated in numerous exhibitions across Québec. His paintings are found in many public and private collections such as Québec City, the Chambre des notaires du Québec, the Québec Garrison Club and the Parliament of Canada in Ottawa.
