My painting practice is rooted in the exploration of spontaneity. It reflects my inner landscapes, those that naturally draw my gaze toward the sky.

Water is present in most of my paintings. It is deeply rooted in me.

It brings to mind Lac Saint-Jean, where I grew up, and the waters of Percé, my summer refuge for more than two decades.

The colour blue naturally resonates with me, bringing a sense of calm and inspiring me to explore the many forms of life.

I love creating atmospheres somewhere between figuration and abstraction, playing with light, texture, and mist. Motifs drawn from nature dance across the surface like a silent poem.

Painting allows me to pause and contemplate the beauty of nature.

It is a way of cultivating joy.
