Johanne Duchaine originates from Québec City and graduated in Visual Arts from Laval University. Fascinated by the creative process, she feels that her approach blends with the understanding of mechanisms at work in creating a piece of art. Having deliberately chosen to use the figuration, she believes that coherence between pictorial elements allows the theme to emerge.
