Nathalie Frenière

Born in Montreal, Nathalie Frenière has been developing her creativity through drawing and music from a young age. She pursued college studies in Graphic Arts and worked in this field for 15 years. She has participated in various painting workshops across Canada and practiced different techniques of great masters in Paris, including the Impressionist movement. Since 2006, she has dedicated herself to her artistic career.

She participates in numerous collective and solo exhibitions across Canada, the United States, Europe, and Brazil. Her works are part of public, private, and corporate collections in Quebec, Canada, the United States, and Europe.

The landscapes are my main source of inspiration. The sky that nature offers has always fascinated me and guides me in my creative work. I do not paint specific places; I gradually discover what my inspiration dictates to me. I paint with oil using a palette knife, my technique creates vaporous effects and subtle blends where I allow abstraction and figuration to coexist.
